Sustainable use of natural resources supports our livelihoods and wellbeing. It is a global as well as a local concern here in Uganda. Caritas Fort Portal-HEWASA supports communities in the sustainable use of natural resources and promotes environmental protection while improving quality of life of the communities it serves. Our interventions help to preserve and protect the flora and fauna in order to maintain the ecological diversity and provide resources for a future generation. We work with communities, civil society, government and other stakeholders to achieve a measurable improvement in people’s lives through Natural Resource Management and Environmental Conservation.
